It’s a Crate Paper Christmas

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share some ornaments and a card that I did with some Crate Paper leftovers from last year’s line. I took these ornaments apart last year because I wasn’t happy with the way that I had finished them. Previously they were just painted gold with some red and green stripes. A bit dull for my tastes now. I have had these two ornaments on my craft table for almost a year now and finally got them completed. It took me about 10 minutes to finish them! LOL! I guess that I just had to be the in the right mood to do it. (insert clapping here!)

I have a 4 X 4 inch ornament on my tree for each of my children’s baby photos. This one is my son’s.

Supplies: Wood frame ornament by Michael’s, patterned Papers and chipboard by Crate Paper, rhinestones by My Mind’s Eye, stickers by Crate Paper and Lily Bee Designs, ribbon by May Arts, twine by The Twinery, paint by Golden, adhesives by Helmar.

Here is my oldest daughter’s ornament.

I also created this card with the Crate Paper leftovers. I love how the Ormolu SVG file turned out cut into the wood grain paper against the white background. It really pops out, doesn’t it?

In other news, keep on the lookout for the new PaperHaus magazine coming out very soon! I’m so excited to see this one! I haven’t seen it yet either, so it will be a surprise for me too. Also, PaperHaus will be having a 12 days of Christmas event. The Design Team and Contributing Team (I’m part of the second one) will be sharing holiday inspiration and there will be daily giveaways! Follow us on Facebook to find out more.

PaperHaus 12 Days of Christmas
